Deposits

Deposits are required before room or car hire reservations are confirmed. Room reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of £10 per room, for each night booked. Car hire reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of £20 for any length of hire less than 2 weeks, £50 for any length of hire greater than 2 weeks and less than 1 month or £100 for any length of hire greater than 1 month. When booking a hire car and a room, no deposit will be required for the hire car.

Deposits will be deducted from invoice payment or will be repaid if a written cancellation of the reservation is received at least 1 month before the date of arrival or the first day of car hire. In the event of a cancellation within a month of a reservation Obsidian will retain the deposit. Short notice reservations (within a month of the date of arrival or car hire) can be accepted with a credit card payment of the deposit due.
