Garden Cottage is currently available for booking by Ascension Residents only.
The beautiful Garden Cottage located 2,300 feet up Green Mountain is the oldest building on Ascension Island dating back to the 1820s.
It is situated at the site of the old farm and was used for many years as the Farm Manager`s residence.
Garden Cottage is an ideal base for the various mountain walks. Almost adjacent is a 300 yds tunnel, originally used to accommodate a water pipeline, which goes right through the mountain to the other side and acts as a short-cut to the other side of the mountain.

The cottage is accessed by driving up the steep Mountain Road and is a 20 minute drive from Georgetown, 10 minutes from Two-Boats Village. A Hire Car is essential! However, the views from the garden are truly stunning.

It should be noted that due its high location, the cottage can be in clouds and be very wet for up to 50% of the time.
The cottage is ideal for the more intrepid self contained visitor and not for visitors expecting a high degree of service.
